West Vancouver Presbyterian Church initiated a monthly Jazz Vespers service last fall, with Original Blend as the host band. The service lasts about an hour and includes brief prayers, a scripture reading, and a short reflection, interspersed with some jazz music.
Original Blend is a 7 piece jazz band that features our priest, Stephen Muir, on the drums. This North Shore based band has been playing together for over 10 years. This month, our priest will do double duty; he will play drums and will also deliver the reflection.
A freewill offering is collected at the beginning of the service. All are welcome to attend.
