The Reverend Michael Batten of St Thomas Anglican Church in Vancouver was our guest preacher for St Agnes Day. He spoke about his recent trip to Rome where he learned about the story of the young woman after whom St Agnes is named. In his sermon he refers to the photo he took of the Piazza Navona, above.
He also was kind enough to bless, cut and serve the festive St Agnes Day cake after the service.
